After an impressive pitch to the Anglia Capital Group Angels, Fox Robotics successfully received investment to help them fill their round of £750,000 alongside other investors. This is ACG’s 8th investment into local businesses so far in 2021, with several awaiting round closure, cementing their commitment to growing opportunities for companies within East Anglia.

The London Technology Club has invested in Cogniac, a leading provider of enterprise-class Artificial Intelligence (AI) image and video analysis across a variety of industries, including automotive, railway, manufacturing and government.

Climate Solutions Exchange Ltd. has received an initial £500,000 investment from Maughan Capital, a strategic investment fund which manages the investment portfolio of the British businessman, ESG investor and philanthropist, Nick Maughan. Maughan Capital is focused on emerging technologies and market-based solutions for ecosystem service payments through habitat restoration. CSX uses a combination of drones, satellites, ground truthing and detailed carbon analysis and modelling to measure carbon. 

Traced, a SaaS company that delivers cybersecurity powered by artificial intelligence for mobile devices to protect businesses from data breaches, has received investment from several Henley Business Angels members and guests, contributing to a total funding round of £400,000.

Distil.ai, a UK company whose software platform helps businesses to understand their customers’ behaviour and identify buying signals has raised £400,000 investment from Mercia.

The first automated RPA management platform, RPA Supervisor has raised $5m in a Seed round led by MMC Ventures. It also welcomes its newest board member and investor Pascal Baker, formerly founder of Symphony Ventures and pioneer in the Intelligent Automation Market. The investment will boost the startup’s innovation capabilities, feeding into Research & Development and expansion across EMEA and the US. 

techspert.io, the AI technology innovator connecting businesses with experts for domain-specific industry insights, has closed a $12 million investment round led by BGF, the UK and Ireland’s most active growth capital investor and existing investors Nauta Capital, a Pan-European Venture Capital firm.

A green robotics company slashing the cost of maintaining wind turbines is flying high after securing £1.6million in its latest funding round.  Perceptual Robotics uses autonomous drones to map turbines, before passing the images onto a cloud-based artificial intelligence system which processes them to detect damage.

contextflow, a leading provider of artificial intelligence for medical image analysis, has announced a EUR 6.7 Million Series A funding round. A second closing included an additional EUR 2 Million from new co-investor Peak Pride Management GmbH, HPH (Hans Peter Haselsteiner) Start-up Unit and current investor APEX Ventures with its “APEX Best in Class” fund. A first closing was led by B&C Innovation Investments GmbH (BCII) and included participation from new co-investor TTIP Beteiligungs GmbH and current investors APEX Ventures, Crista Galli Ventures, IST cube, Nina Capital and Novacapital.
