Dorset Business Angels (DBA) hosted its quarterly pitch event at the Bournemouth Carlton Hotel and welcomed entrepreneurs based across the South of England, two of them from the BCP area.

Dorset Business Angels (DBA) will host its inaugural Angel Investing Workshop on April 17th, at the Bournemouth Carlton Hotel. The workshop will take place prior to the Spring pitch event and will be led by experienced angel investor and DBA Chairman, Don McQueen.

Dorset Business Angels is gearing up for its next pitch event on 17th April where a number of exciting businesses will be pitching for investment from DBA members.  

A syndicate of 10 business angels led by Angels Invest Wales lead investor Ashley Cooper has made a follow-on investment in Swansea-based 2B Enterprising, the company delivering an engaging and bilingual enterprise  education programme for primary schools throughout England and Wales. This brings the aggregate number of angel investors over the two funding rounds to 21.
