UK-based space services startup, Gravitilab, is on a mission to make conducting research in space more accessible and affordable. The company has just secured a £100k investment from British Design Fund.

The fund has been raised to scale Quin AI’s activities in the United Kingdom and Germany, as well as further innovations in AI for creating intelligent applications.

Panthera Biosciences (Panthera) has secured £10 million of investment from BGF and Gresham House Ventures.

52 North Health, a UK and US-based med-tech start-up, has raised £1 million in its first round of funding from leading UK and European specialist investors. The round was led by Cambridge Enterprise, the commercialisation arm of the University of Cambridge, with participation from Crista Galli Ventures, King’s Health Partners MedTech Innovations, Meltwind, Milltrust Ventures and a number of angels.

Arbor Steel has raised £200,000 in a pre-seed funding round from angel investors to bring its digital identity citadel to customers. Developed following a £100,000 InnovateUK Grant, the platform provides a secure and efficient way to share personal data and interact with services whilst maintaining control. The round included an element of angel funding.

Scotland’s leading impact investor, SIS Ventures, has secured £1 million for its pioneering investment fund – Impact First - from Chroma Ventures.

Turning car finance on its head putting consumers in the driving seat, Carmoola, a newly launched motoring fintech has raised £27M in investment from Jaguar Land Rover’s investment fund, InMotion Ventures, VentureFriends, BCI and California-based Clocktower Ventures.

DBIC Ventures has led a €1.6M funding round in industry cloud CRM company, Clarity CX1, along with angel and other investors. The investment will be used to fuel Clarity CX1’s global growth plans, supported by 30 new jobs over the next two years.
