Onoco, the parenting app designed to help organise families through planning, documenting infant care and tracking their development, has raised £150,000 from Jenson Funding Partners as part of an ongoing pre-seed round. The funding comes as demand for parent tech has spiked, with US companies in the sector raising $1.4bn in 2021 alone – over the total investment amount accumulated in the four years prior.

Future Fertility, a fertility technology company developing AI-enabled and non-invasive fertility solutions to optimize clinical decision making in fertility care and in vitro fertilization (IVF), has successfully raised a Series A financing round. The investment was led by M Ventures (the corporate venture capital arm of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, a global fertility leader), with participation from Whitecap Venture Partners.

MedKitDoc, a German telemedicine platform, has raised 7 million euros in seed financing. In addition to Vorwerk Ventures, Acton Capital, and existing investor Picus Capital, FlixBus founders Daniel Krauss and Jochen Engert are also investing in the fast-growing digital health start-up based in Berlin and Hannoversch Münden.

Silverfleet has announced that Arcline Investment Management has undertaken to acquire CoreDux, a manufacturer of flexible gas and fluid artery systems headquartered in The Netherlands. The consultation process of CoreDux’s work councils is to be launched shortly. Completion of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected by Q1 or Q2 2022.

A UK business which aims to transform industry with its internet of things software platform has raised £2.1m to accelerate its international expansion.

One of the UK’s largest independent Oracle partners, DSP-Explorer, a database and cloud managed services provider, has received an additional £8m of investment from YFM Equity Partners (YFM). The investment, made by the YFM-managed YFM Equity Partners Buyout II LP fund, will enable the business to continue its organic and acquisitive growth plans.

Leading insurance software solutions provider, Genasys, has announced a major investment of £12.25M from leading software Scale-Up investor, Frog Capital. The investment will see Frog take a significant stake in the business, with the Genasys management team retaining operational control.
