AlbionVC hires investment manager to bolster tech team

AlbionVC, the technology investment arm of Albion Capital, has hired Jay Wilson to the role of investment manager.

Jay’s appointment further strengthens the firm’s specialist tech investment team as it seeks to capitalise on the opportunities provided by the UK’s leading early stage digital businesses. His newly created role is part of an ongoing expansion of AlbionVC’s technology expertise and follows the appointment of Cat McDonald, Nadine Torbey and Tanel Ozdemir to the team last year.

Wine Vault attracts investment from Holland Park Capital

Hat-trick of awards for Par Equity

Par Equity has been awarded ‘Best EIS Investment Exit’ at the EIS Association Awards 2019. The win completed a hat-trick of awards recognising the firm’s 76x return on investment turnaround of online educator ICS Learn.


The EIS Association Awards 2019 were announced at the trade body’s Chairman’s Reception event held at the House of Lords. Entries to the prestigious awards are judged by a panel of independent industry experts

The firm also won both “Exit of the Year” at the Growth Investor Awards and “Best Exit of the Year” at Investment Week’s Tax Efficiency Awards in November of last year.
